Many people aren’t aware that the process of selling your San Diego home starts many months before putting it on the market. We’ve received calls from people who want to sell their house but want to wait until summer to put it up for sale. This is risky – the lack of preparation may cause your home to sit on the market for a long time. On the flip-side, by updating your house and bringing it to peak condition, you can improve the value and get more money for it. Here’s a few things we offer to ensure you have the best home selling experience:

      • We have an interior designer on staff. We have her do a walk-through of your house and give you tips on little things that help make your home show in the best light possible. Whether the solution is decluttering, changing paint color, or moving furniture, her expertise is a resource you don’t want to pass up.
      • We recommend to all our sellers that they get a home inspection done on their property. This will uncover things you may not have known about your home and eliminate a lot of problems down the road. For example, we had a seller get halfway through the escrow period, only to learn that there was a problem with the foundation – the deal was killed and he had to start back at square one. Don’t let this happen to you.
These are but a few of the resources we have to offer. We want to make sure you sell your home fast and at maximum value – the best way to do that is to have us come in and start preparing your house before you put it on the market. It’s the best way to get ahead of the competition and make your home impossible for buyers to pass up. As always, give us a call or send us an email if you have any interest buying or selling in the San Diego area. We hope to hear from you soon.
