We've given you burgers, shakes, sliders, and beer but what kind of self proclaimed foodies would we be if we didn't give the spotlight to the mouthwatering Mexican food East County has to offer?

Kyle Whissel is taking #ECE out to Spring Valley to discover the delicious eats Sarita's Mexican Food is cookin' up!

Sarita's taco shop opened in 1992 with the goal of having food so tasty, customers would continue to want to come back for years to come. Considering that this restaurant is open 24-hours a day, and is packed at all times of the day and night, we would have to say they more than accomplished their goal. They play an active roll in their community, have been voted into the top 5 taco shops by the Union Tribune many times, and serve as a wonderful place to get a midnight snack(though their portion sizes hardly qualify as a "snack").
