Big Bear Mountain Bike Trails:

Move over winter skiers, Big Bear Mountain has opened special trails for mountain bikers during the late summer into the fall season. Big Bear's Snow Summit Adventure Park, is the mountain's original site for champion biking trails. Snow Summit and its partners, Gravity Logic, are forecasting a future for Big Bear Mountain that will make it the Southern California mecca of mountain bike trails. The mountain trails are a mix of man-made bunny hop surfaces, carves, and jet over slopes.

Big Bear Mountain bike trails are already receiving wide acclaim for trails like the advanced “Miracle Mile,” which has 33 berms, rollers, 3 wood features, and 10 man-made and natural jumps. The “Cruiser,” is also an advanced trail, but easier than Miracle Mile. Both trails consists of a natural single track, banked turns, bridges, and step ups. Another rider's trail is the intermediate “Westridge,” trail with challenging trail features. Big Bear's “Skyline Trail,” is an XC loop mountain bike trail which will cover up to 10 miles, once construction is completed.

Golfing Fun:

Golfing at 7,000 feet is an enthusiasts dream landscape. Big Bear Mountain provides golfers of all levels, a 9-hole, 35 par golf course, located in the Moonridge area. Lessons are given by professional golfers, beginning with a perfect 300 yard driving range to practice hitting a few balls before tee time. Championship golfing is available from April through November on a regulation course. After hitting a few holes, meet the family at the 9th hole Club House Grill for a great American menu and tasty cocktails. Season passes are available from the Snow Summit Adventure Park ticket window. Each nine hole round is $25 Monday – Friday and $30 on holidays and weekends.

Indoor Arcade Fun:

The Himalayan Roller Coaster ride, laser tag, bumper cars, spinning rides, and over 20 arcade games, are just a few of the attractions that the whole family will enjoy at Big Bear Mountain's indoor “Funplex.” Funplex is a large, spacious fun center that also hosts parties, serves great pizza and snacks at Noble Roman's, and ice skating for all ages. Big Bear continues to offer more fun at the Alley Oops Sports Bar, which is located inside the Bowling Barn. The adults can relax with a glass of wine or beer, while watching a variety of sports on any of the big screen TVs. Every member of the family will love the variety of casual foods offered at Alley Oops, while the friendly Big Bear staff caters to your every whim.
