There are small changes that you can make to your house to increase its value while you’re still living in it. Right now, one of the easiest ways to do that is with smart home technology, so I’m going to talk to you about the three most popular smart home technologies.

    1. Alexa/Google Home. It gives you the ability to use voice commands in your entire home. This includes commands to turn lights on and off, control your stereo, or control the thermostat in your house. This technology is something that buyers love, and we can even show that technology off during showings if you have it in your home.
    2. Smart thermostats. The original smart thermostat is called the Nest, which Google now owns, or the one I have in my house which is called an EcoBee. The cool thing about EcoBee is that you can install sensors in each room of your house that will sense motion, and it will only adjust the temperature in the rooms that are occupied.
    3. Video doorbell. Ring is the most popular of this technology, and this is particularly great if you’re showing your home and a buyer walks up and sees that doorbell. It will set the stage for giving the first impression that you’re selling a smart home.

If you have any questions about this topic or you’re looking to buy or sell a home, please give me a call. I look forward to hearing from you!

      Hello Kyle! How are you?
My name is Alexandre, I’m writing from Brazil and have watched your video about Smart Home.
I’m an Engineer here in Brazil, and have studied and worked with Technologies to smarter homes. I know some systems as like “Fibaro” (from Poland), Leviton-Bitwise” and others, but i don’t know very well the Alexa/google home and Nest.
I’m very intentioned to learn more about it, the facilities of the system, the gadgets compatible and more.
I’m going to move to SD the next month (i’ve some friends there) and I’m looking for a contact who could give some sugestions or directions of how can learn about the systems most used in US.
I’ll appreciate if you can give any informations or contact about it, just to send/receive some e-mails.
      Best Regards !
